The Quantitative Methods Research Group (QMRG) is a study group of the Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers (RGS-IBG) which exists to promote the application of quantitative methods in Geography. It encompasses research in spatial statistics and spatial modelling as well as research on technological areas such as computing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing.
